博群跨代共融計劃 I·CARE Cross-generational Integration Programme

本中心推出之「博群跨代共融計劃」,旨在促進長者與青少年交流,加強不同世代人士的彼此理解與尊重。本學年的計劃將於今年 11 月至明年 3 月期間進行,會於不同時段邀請本校同學、中學生與長者一起參觀多項中大設施,亦會於中學或長者中心舉辦主題活動,讓兩代人互動,達致跨代共融。


 
環保浴鹽工作坊

由資深導師帶領,讓中大同學與地區中心長者一起學習利用咖啡渣製作環保浴鹽,放鬆身心。

日期:2021 年 4 月 24 日(星期六)

時間:上午 11 時至下午 12 時 30 分

地點:仁愛堂香港台山商會長者鄰舍中心(沙田穗禾苑商場 G39 號)

蝶古巴特工作坊

由資深導師帶領,讓中大同學在母親節前夕與其家中長者一起以蝶古巴特方式製作意大利拼貼玻璃碟,藉此增進交流,達致跨代共融。

時間:上午 10 時至中午 12 時

形式:網上工作坊(Zoom 連結將以電郵方式發送予成功報名者)

拇指琴工作坊

由資深導師帶領,讓中大同學及其家中長者一起學習拇指琴的基礎演奏技巧,藉音樂邁向跨代共融。詳情如下:

時間:上午 10 時至中午 12 時

形式:網上工作坊(Zoom 連結將以電郵方式發送予成功報名者)

日本和諧粉彩工作坊

由資深導師帶領,讓中大同學及其家中長者一起學習使用日本和諧粉彩,享受共同創作的愉快時光,藉此增進親情,達致跨代共融。活動詳情如下:

The Cross-generational Integration Programme rolled out by this Centre aims at facilitating interaction between senior citizens and the youth, so as to promote mutual understanding and respect across different generations. The programme of this academic year will be held from November this year to March next year. It will invite students of this university, secondary school students and elderly people at different times to visit various CUHK facilities, and to organise thematic activities in secondary schools or elderly centres. The exchange of these groups of people is expected to be enhanced that leads to cross-generation integration.


 
Environmental Bath Salt Workshop

The workshop will be led by experienced tutor allowing CUHK students and the community centre’s elderly to learn together how to make bath salt by using coffee grounds for relaxation.

Date: 24 April 2021 (Saturday)

Time: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Venue: Yan Oi Tong Hong Kong Toi Shan Association Neighbourhood Elderly Centre (G39, Sui Wo Commercial Centre, Sui Wo Court, Sha Tin)

Language: Cantonese

Fee: Free of charge

Quota: 6 students

Decoupage Glass Workshop

The workshop will be led by experienced tutor allowing CUHK students and their

elderly family members to co-produce glass plates in the form of Decoupage near the

Mother’s Day to facilitate cross-generational integration through collaboration and

communication.


Date: 8 May 2021 (Saturday)

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon

Format: Online workshop (the Zoom link will be sent to successful applicants via email)

Language: Cantonese

Fee: Free of charge

Quota: 10 families

Deadline: 18 April 2021 (Sunday)


Remarks:

  1. Each student should pair up with their elderly family member aged 50 or above.

  2. Successful applicants should come to this Centre in person to collect the material package and put down a deposit within the specific period. Details will be contained in the confirmation email.

  3. To achieve the best teaching and learning outcomes, participants should turn on the computer camera throughout the workshop.


 
Kalimba Workshop

The “Kalimba Workshop” is to be led by an experienced tutor. It will allow CUHK students and their elderly family members to learn together the basic skills of playing Kalimba and facilitate cross-generational integration through music. Details are as follows:


Date: 28 February 2021 (Sunday) and 7 March 2021 (Sunday)

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon

Format: Online workshop (the Zoom link will be sent to successful applicants via email)

Language: Cantonese

Fee: Free of charge

Quota: 10 families

Deadline: 15 February 2021 (Monday)


Remarks:

  1. Each student should pair up with one elderly family member aged 55 or above.

  2. Confirmation email will be sent to successful applicants on or before 16 February 2021 (Tuesday).

  3. Successful applicants should come to this Centre in person to collect the Kalimba and put down a deposit within the specific period. Details will be contained in the confirmation email.

  4. To achieve the best teaching and learning outcomes, participants should turn on the computer camera and microphone throughout the workshop.


 
Pastel Nagomi Art Workshop

The “Pastel Nagomi Art Workshop” will be led by an experienced tutor to offer an opportunity for CUHK students and their elderly family members to experience the joy of co-creating the Pastel Nagomi Art. It is conducive to the enhancement of their affinity which leads to cross-generational integration. Details are as follows:


Date: 21 December 2020 (Monday)

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon

Format: Online workshop (the Zoom link will be sent to successful applicants via email)

Language: Cantonese

Fee: Free of charge

Quota: 10 families

Deadline: 9:00 am of 9 December 2020 (Wednesday)


Remarks:

  1. Each student should pair up with at least one elderly family member aged 55 or above.

  2. Confirmation email will be sent to successful applicants on or before 11 December 2020 (Friday).

  3. Successful applicants should visit this Centre (Room 501, 5/F, Wong Foo Yuan Building) to collect the materials kit and settle a deposit of $100. Deposit is refundable only to the people who duly attend the workshop. Absentees will be accountable for the forfeit of deposit.

  4. To achieve the best teaching and learning outcomes, participants should turn on the computer camera throughout the workshop.

 
Recruitment of Organising Committee Members

The Cross-generational Integration Programme is now recruiting members of the Organising Committee. Their duties include planning programme rundown, preparation of programme materials, formulating promotional strategies, and other tasks assigned. Details are as follows:


Requirements

  1. Able to complete the whole term of service: October 2020 - March 2021

  2. Master fluent Cantonese

  3. Be responsible

  4. Be self-motivated

  5. Be passionate in social service

  6. Good team player

  7. Students from all disciplines are welcomed


Interview

Date: 30 September and 5 October 2020

Format : Online and individual (20 minutes per session)

Notification: Shortlisted interviewees will receive emails on or before 29 September 2020 (Tuesday)
