I·CARE Programme Social Enterprise Mentoring Scheme

The Social Enterprise Mentoring Scheme aims at providing training and mentoring for students or recent graduates who wish to start a social enterprise, are looking to further develop an ongoing enterprise, or simply have an idea for a socially beneficial business and need some help to get it off the ground. No matter you already have a fully fledged social enterprise running or only a vague idea for a project, we are happy to offer the support and guidance to help you with the next steps!

What we offer:

One-on-One Mentoring

Our mentoring service gives young social entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders to grow your projects. You can seek one-on-one guidance and advice, get connected with networks and resources, gain understanding of a business, and have someone to give you an unbiased and external perspective to your business strategies. Current mentors include highly experienced banking, financial and investment professionals. If you would like to get enrolled with our mentorship service, please contact us with a short statement telling us what interests you as a social entrepreneur. We will then help you to get connected with the right professionals working in related fields.

HKSEC Team Coaching

For participants of the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge, we provide a special coaching service to help your team get better prepared for the competition. We will line you up with previous participants of the Challenge and startup mentors to help sharpen your submission. You will receive comments and suggestions on how to improve your pitch and be investor ready. To receive our coaching service, your team must be headed by a student or a recent graduate of CUHK.
