一場疫情,意外地讓我們留港發掘本地風光;和我們一起「本地遊」,你或會驚覺這個家的自然景貌非常美麗。


 

本中心推出之「博群在野」項目,旨在引領同學走進鬧市邊陲的綠野,用不一樣的方式體驗大自然,發掘箇中樂趣。本項目的本學年最終回,將如以往三次帶你在符合限聚令下遠足,惟過程中會集中尋找及觀察夜出動物,例如蛙類和螢火蟲。詳情如下:


日  期:2021 年 6 月 22 日(星期二)

時  間:晚上 7 時至 9 時 30 分

路  線:松仔園 > 大埔滘自然護理區 > 松仔園(實際路線或因應當日天氣狀況而有所調整)

對  象:全日制本科生及研究生

語  言:粵語(輔以英語)

名  額:20 個(基本上先到先得,惟從未參加「博群在野」者會獲優先考慮)

費  用:全免

第三回

本中心推出之「博群在野」項目,旨在引領同學走進鬧市邊陲的綠野,用不一樣的方式體驗大自然,發掘箇中樂趣。本項目於本學年的第二個活動已於上月 7 日順利舉行,當日參加者到有「香港後花園」之稱的西貢遠足,並成功登上大枕蓋觀賞迷人日落;儘管受限聚令影響,但大家均嚴守紀律,盡興而歸。第三回「博群在野」即將展開,會跟你晚間遠足和看星,接著觀賞日出。詳情如下:


日  期:2021 年 6 月 12 至 13 日(星期六至日)

時  間:(首日)晚上 11 時至(翌日)上午 9 時

路 線:東涌市中心 > 伯公坳 > 爛頭營 > 大東山 > 東涌市中心(實際路線或因應當日天氣狀況而有所調整)

對  象:全日制本科生及研究生

語  言:粵語(輔以英語)

名  額:20 個(基本上先到先得,惟從未參加「博群在野」者會獲優先考慮)

費  用:全免

路  線:大水坑 > 女婆山 > 茅坪 > 梅子林 > 大水坑(實際路線或因應當日天氣狀況而有所調整)

對  象:全日制本科生及研究生

語  言:粵語(輔以英語)

名  額:12 個(基本上先到先得,惟從未參加「博群在野」者會獲優先考慮)

費  用:全免

Due to the pandemic, the beautiful landscape of Hong Kong has been revealed through forced domestic consumption. Going on the local excursions with us, you will be amazed by the stunning nature of our home.


 
Last Tour

The Mother Nature Rocks rolled out by this Centre aims at encouraging students to explore the city’s countryside and to experience the nature afresh. As in the previous three sessions, the last activity under the programme of this academic year will take you to hiking in a manner not violating the gathering restrictions. The salience is, however, to search and look on nocturnal animals like frogs and fireflies. Details are as follows:


Date: 22 June 2021 (Tuesday)

Time: 7:00 - 9:30 pm

Route: Tsung Tsai Yuen > Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve > Tsung Tsai Yuen (the actual trail may vary depending on the weather conditions of the day)

Target: All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students

Language: Cantonese (supplemented with English)

Quota: 20 (basically on a first-come-first-served basis, but priority will be given to those who have never participated in Mother Nature Rocks)

Fee: Free of charge

Deposit: HK$100 (refunded upon attendance on the event day)

3rd Tour

The Mother Nature Rocks rolled out by this Centre aims at encouraging students to explore the city’s countryside and to experience the nature afresh. The second activity under the programme of this academic year was successfully held on the 7th of last month. Participants were led to hike in Sai Kung, purported as the “Back Garden of Hong Kong”, and watch beautiful sunset at the top of Tai Cham Koi. Despite the gathering restrictions, everyone exercised a great deal of self-discipline and had fond memories of this outing. In the third tour, we will bring you to experience hiking and star gazing at night, followed by sunrise watching. Details are as follows:


Date: 12 - 13 June 2021 (Saturday and Sunday)

Time: (First day) 11:00 pm - (Next day) 9:00 am

Route: Tung Chung Town Centre > Pak Kung Au > Lantau Mountain Camp > Sunset Peak > Tung Chung Town Centre (the actual trail may vary depending on the weather conditions of the day)

Target: All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students

Language: Cantonese (supplemented with English)

Quota: 20 (basically on a first-come-first-served basis, but priority will be given to those who have never participated in Mother Nature Rocks)

Fee: Free of charge

Deposit: HK$100 (refunded upon attendance on the event day)

Remarks: This activity will span in wee hours, and good physique is required for going up the Sunset Peak. Please take general body condition into consideration before enrolment.

2nd Tour

The Mother Nature Rocks rolled out by this Centre aims at encouraging students to explore the city’s countryside and to experience the nature afresh. The first activity under the programme of this academic year was successfully held on the 21st of this month. Participants were led to walk along the ancient trails, check out peculiar rocks and hail the giant vines at Ma On Shan Country Park. Despite the gathering restrictions, everyone exercised a great deal of self-discipline and had fond memories of this outing. In the 2nd tour, we will bring you to go on a hike at Sai Kung, purported as the “Back Garden of Hong Kong”, and watch the sunset at Tai Cham Koi. Details are as follows:


Date: 7 April 2021 (Wednesday)

Time: 12:30 - 6:30 pm

Route: Sai Kung Town Centre > Pak Tam Au > Chek Keng > Luk Wu-Chek Keng Path > Tai Cham Koi > Pak Tam Chung (the actual trail may vary depending on the weather conditions of the day)

Target: All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students

Language: Cantonese (supplemented with English)

Quota: 12 (basically on a first-come-first-served basis, but priority will be given to those who have never participated in Mother Nature Rocks)

Fee: Free of charge

Deposit: HK$100 (refunded upon attendance on the event day)

Target: All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students

Language: Cantonese (supplemented with English)

Quota: 12 (basically on a first-come-first-served basis, but priority will be given to those who have never participated in Mother Nature Rocks)

Fee: Free of charge

Deposit: HK$100 (refunded upon attendance on the event day)
