The I·CARE Hong Kong Cultural Tours Project under the Student Experience and Development Section - I·CARE Centre for Whole-person Development would be organising CUHK Exclusive Tours every year, led by our CUHK students who received professional training, guiding us to wander around our city to know more about the history and culture of the districts.
Below are the four themes and corresponding districts for the tour this year:
Development of Traditional Industry in Hong Kong (Hung Hom) 【Tour date: June 2, 2024; time: 14:00 – 16:00】
Transformation of Traditional Public Estates in Hong Kong (Shek Kip Mei) 【Tour date: June 6, 2024; time: 14:00 – 17:00】
The Making of New Towns in Hong Kong (Yuen Long) 【Tour date: June 7, 2024; time: 14:00 – 17:00】
Industrial History of Hong Kong (Tai Kok Tsui) 【Tour date: June 19, 2024; time: 14:00 – 16:00】
