The 27th session of I∙CARE Salon, which is an iconic programme under the University Lecture on Civility, will be presided by Miss Law Lok-man* on "An Insider's View of Hong Kong Literature and The World". Details are set out below:
*Speaker’s Biography
Poet and editor Louise Law Lok-man graduated as a philosophy major from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she also received a master’s degree in English. She served as the editor for the Hong Kong literary magazine Fleurs des Lettres, Festival Manager at the Hong Kong International Literary Festival, Project Manager of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and Director of Spicy Fish Cultural Production. Louise is engaged in editing, education in creative writing, writing, and literary event planning. She earned the Award of Commendation in the 3rd Lee Sing-wah Modern Poetry Award for Youth and the Panel Commendation Award for New Authors in the 13th Hong Kong Book Prize. She is the author of Or So It Seems (2018), her first Chinese poetry collection.
