Social Service Projects Scheme nurtures a mindset of aiding and learning

To equip students with competence in rendering social services, this Centre organises training activities every round. The most recent one, namely “Workshop of Practice cum Sharing Session” conducted via Zoom on the 15th of March, was tailored for applicants of the second round’s scheme of the last academic year. Not only did participants learn about the skills of proposal writing, they also got the chance to hear the experience of “Love·Care·Boundaryless”, one of the outstanding teams funded by this scheme, on providing service for the asylum seekers in Hong Kong. Participants actively engaged in this event and raised questions enthusiastically.

As for the first training activity in this academic year, students who are going to apply for the first round’s funding are required to participate in it. Since the latter part of this activity will feature the outstanding team in the previous I·CARE Social Service Projects Scheme on their service experience, other students are welcomed to join it.
